At the Door:

» Only Teens with High School IDs can enter during regular hours

» Only Members and their guests are allowed entry

» All bags checked

» Spot check for Alcohol and Drugs

» No aggressive or threatening behavior will be tolerated

» Cameras monitoring interior and exterior of club

» All employees have been background checked

Respect the Rules:

» All guests and members shall treat each other and the staff with respect

» No drugs, alcohol or weapons of any kind are allowed in the club or club grounds

» No one is allowed in the club under the influence of drugs or alcohol

» No smoking in club or on club grounds

» No threatening actions or behavior is allowed

» No actions that place patrons, staff or club property at risk will be tolerated

» Failure to follow the above rules shall result in expulsion from the club or permanent banning at the discretion of club management without refund of  membership fees

» No parents are allowed in the club during operational hours (exception: emergency situations)

About our First Club: Studio 117 in Mamaroneck, NY

Studio 117 is a Night Club and Lounge for Teens (ages 14-18). In many suburbs across the North East and America teens realized a problem; there are very few options for entertainment, this includes Westchester County, NY. Today most Teens do not have an appealing place to spend their free time on a regular basis. Adults have options such as restaurants  bars, clubs or movies. Teens on the other hand are continuously under supervision by their parents, and have only minimal options, such as going to a movie. This is what often drives many Teens towards Drugs and Alcohol. Studio 117 will be a Drug and Alcohol free place that Teens will actually find appealing and come to party or just chill in the lounge. Once Studio 117 is a hit plan we plan on opening similar clubs across the country. Look for Studio 117 to open July 1, 2013.

 
About the Founder: Billy Stetson

I am attending the #1 entrepreneurship college in the country, Babson College, and I was looking for new business opportunities and came upon the idea to found My Teen Hangout. 

As typical a suburbia kid who grew up in Mamaroneck, NY; life there was okay but there was nothing special or fun to do on any given weekend. Then inspiration hit; I realized that there was a big need for a COOL place where Teens could go to chill, have fun and party while being safe at the same time. Following the inception of this idea I got started right away and built what today is My Teen Hangout where my mission is to bring quality entertainment to bored teens.
